Does any one know how to remove the old metal mirror button from the windshield without breaking the glass? I'm changing to a mirror that uses a different style mount.
Thanks in advance Paul F. |

go get a few hypodermic needles ( about 5 ). then get some acetone, you need to work quickly because the acetone will disvole something in the neddle, then fill the neddle and quickly stick it under the button and squirt in the acetone. you need to do this a few times, but it will disvole what ever is holding it on.
