Too bad they didn't get the memo on price reductions recently.

Too many personalized styling cues for my taste.
Poor fitting interior. Although, it does say it is done in leather.
Orange rocker panels. Not Signal Orange paint.
It looks like a pretty decent car. Just needs some small details worked out.
For that kind of money, I would need to see receipts, and much better pictures of problem areas.

The one thing I find really odd is why a 914 with only 22291 miles on the clock is "highly restored".
Wouldn't you think "excellent unrestored condition" would be more the norm?

New paint in signal orange OK I guess, years of nicks etc.
new interior in leather, not original?
rebuilt original engine why?
rebuilt transmission why?
new brakes why? guessing because of sitting long time?
rebuilt weber carbs OK, I can understand new kits
all new exhaust and heat exchangers why?
refinished bright work why?
painted floors and detailed undercarriage why?
nicely detailed engine compartment why?
all new oil lines and brake line ok, understandable on the rubber bits

Also what's going on with the rockers fit and color? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Because it has an aftermarket replacement floor pan

Very shiny. Something is weird with the pass side rocker and door.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) this car is falling apart in front of the seller, not that he would care as its just another "one on the books" dealer ,dock off his markup and the fact it really isn't as advertised ,not even close pricewise.

Why is it 109k?

It's at a dealer, it's in Southampton, NY.

And now its no longer listed... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

My 6 sold for $82k and it kicks *ss on this car. I am convinced that $82k is the current market for a #2+ car because my car was seen and known by all the right people.
Maybe I will be keeping mine I haven't seen any $$$ yet!

I thought your car was a good buy at 95k before you put it on BAT, just don't have the disposable income. Can't believe it only brought 82. Yours is better than some that have brought more. Are we starting to see some market correction?

I have to agree with brownaar. I believe Mike's car was well with mid-90's too. But the market is a living thing and what goes up will come down and vice-versa.

I think the market is a bit out of whack. For that price one could buy a Ferrari 308 GTSi and have money to spare. Or a 308 GTB, or a couple of project 308 GT4's. Fly it to Italy for a tour of Umbria, Tuscany and Ravenna (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Might be time to sell Porsche and buy Ferrari.

308GTS was a $25K car 5 or 6 years ago, just like the 914-6

Tell us in detail why ?,a downward move no question ,bloody things break down all the time, try and get a 100K miles from a Ferrari motor.
