he had two 914-6 s one is still in CO,,bare tub...oops maybe one, I read somewhere he saved a 914-6 for his son ???

2004 pelican parts 9140430220 bought for $300

What to do?
I am unsure as to what I should do with the 914/6 that I purchased for a good price last week, and I am seeking the wisdom and knowledge of the members of this forum. I have a couple different options available to me. The first is to keep it and restore it, which I would love to do, but do not have the time nor the resources ($$$). The second option that I can see is to sell it as is and make a decent profit. The third choice is to take the parts that I need, part out the rest, and sell the body. Finally the last option is to take what I need, part out the rest, and send the body to the crusher (which I would hate to do).

Of these four options I think I am leaning more towards option three, take what I need (suspension, sway bars, oil tank, oil cooler, fuel cell and a few little things), and then sell the body/parts. I know I may hate myself for letting a real six go, but I just don't have the time, money, or space to keep it and restore it.

Thanks in advance for your input.
