I bought this car a few months back and was super excited to get it running and just drive the wheels off it. Fast forward a couple months and we listed our house for sale. Having a great realtor, we sold our house in under a week, had multiple offers and now we close escrow on our house in just 3 weeks.

I've already sold my '68 beetle that I've had for 20 years, my '81 caddy, and now I'm hoping to sell the teener. We haven't a clue where we're heading in a couple weeks let along all the cars. While I'd love to keep the car, the time just isn't right. It'll be a few years before I even get the chance to spend the time I want to on it and hopefully by then I'll be ready to pull the trigger again.

Anyways, here's the car....
1970 914
1.7
originally Tangerine
No apparent accidents
Battery tray is rusted out.
Hell hole needs attention but isn't horrible
Little bit of rust in the trunk, nothing major
"Ran when parked" was what the gentleman I bought it from said.
He owned it since the mid 90s and bought it from an LA Police officer
He parked it because it was having brake issues and the mechanic he had come over couldn't figure out how to work on the rear brakes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)
Front two tires are free, rear are locked up. I swapped the rivieras on there with a set of rivieras I had that hold air.

Feel free to ask questions or ask for more pictures but it may be a day or two before I can get new pictures.

Thanks

Jos

Sorry I forgot to add price. $2200

CAR IS LOCATED IN HEMET, CA (RIVERSIDE COUNTY)
