Has anyone tried to restore these?
914 Rubber sells the lines (can't find the listing), but they are unbent and I have no idea how you'd ever get these lines onto a set of original metal ends? Do you heat the lines until melting? How would you actually pull the plastic lines onto the metal ends? Even if you got the lines on the metal ends, how would you shape the straight plastic lines into the correct curves? Any thoughts on these? The new factory parts which have black plastic lines are like $140 each! |
