- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

Not sure why, but I’m finding my new bilsteins just a bit too hard (firm!) work....
Miss the suppleness of the original boges (before they leaked).... Does anyone have some advice, or ideally a set of original spec boges, for front and rear? I’m in london, UK but I can wait! Thanks Alex |

It makes a difference if you're using the Bilstein, Koni or Boge/Sachs Track or Street flavors. It the Bilsteins that you've got are the track, then they won't ride as comfortably on street & DD use.
You might try the Koni street as they were very nice riding with just the right handling resistance for me over the last +/- 20K miles of my `73 2L's total 172K miles - with all the rest with the stock original Boge/Sachs shocks/struts. If you can find a full matched date set of the old school Koni "Reds" street shocks & struts, then those can be rebuilt by Koni to as-new spec. Cheers Mate!
