Hey everybody,
My ’73 LS1 project up for sale. I haven’t been able to work on it much in the last few years... and sadly, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Family and work consume all my time. The car runs reliably and is blisteringly fast, but it needs someone to shake it down and do the cosmetics. The engine would benefit from software tuning to better match it’s current intake and exhaust. The body is solid with rust repair professionally performed in the usual places. There are loads of excellent condition parts on this car, including a brand new windshield and a flawless uncracked dash. All mechanical parts on the car were either brand new or well-restored. The factory wiring harness is flexible and un-cut. Below is a list of the parts that are currently on the car. I have boxes and shelves full of additional parts that come with the car. I may consider parting it out if nobody wants the whole package. I need to free up a garage space. I’ll add more/better photos when I have a chance to take them tomorrow. These parts are currently installed on the car: Body: Porsche factory steel GT flares Porsche factory GT stiffening kit Engman internal longitudinal stiffening kit Rennenmetal Super Beatle Tow bar and suspension mount Rennenmetal Rear Tie Downs Brakes: Pedal cluster rebuilt with bronze bushings M-calipers front and rear (restored by PMB Performance) 19mm master cylinder 911 vented rotors (front and rear) PMB Performance SS hard lines 911 e-brake Wheels/Tires 16x8 Euromeister Fuchs Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport (225/50/16) Suspension/Steering Bilstein struts front and rear 200 lb. rear springs with adjustable perches 914 factory swaybars (rear not installed) Lemfoerder turbo tie rods Lemfoerder ball joints 911 steering U joints New front bushings Transaxle/axles 914 sideshift transaxle (flipped H gear in 5th position) 5-bolt 911 hubs front and rear 911 SC (100mm) output flanges and stub axles 944 (100mm) CV joints on modified 914 axles Rennshift shifter Tangerine Racing custom shift linkage Tangerine spherical firewall bushing Kevlar clutch Engine/Cooling: 2001 Aluminum Corvette LS1 V8 (~36k miles) Corvette “Batwing” oil pan Drive by wire throttle body Stock ECU modified by Renegade Hybrids Renegade Hybrids cooling system and conversion components Tangerine Racing SS fuel lines Ceramic coated Corvette exhaust manifolds Magnaflow high-flow cats 67-68 Mustang transverse muffler K&N cone air filter Electrical: Battery side fuse panel (added protection for entire wiring harness) JWest Headlight Relay Kit JWest Fog Light Flasher Kit French style (Amber) Fog Lights H4 headlights Hella Supertone Horns LED brake light modules Interior: Factory gauges modified with multicolor LED lighting (remote operated) Momo "Retro" steering wheel Billet aluminum shift knob VDO oil pressure, water temp, voltage gauges (in factory radio location) BMW rear view mirror (mounts to frame instead of windshield) These additional parts are not installed, but come with the car.
