Here's a pretty good article that was posted yesterday on Petrolicious regarding a 914/6 GT replica.....

Apparently when the 3.0 RSR 911 came out in the early 70's a lot of folks wanted to upgrade and swap out there smaller 2.8L 911 engines for the 3.0L. Someone had the great idea to install these left over smaller 2.8L engines in the 914 and (12) were built. Has anyone heard about these (12) special engined 914's before.....or is it simply a myth?
