Sold.....It’s back up for sale on Ebay (Item ID: 223129569682). I sold it to my brother who has recently came across another 914 that has a 3.2L six engine out of a 86 Porsche 911, which he thinks he has to have! He has it listed on Ebay at the moment with a starting price about $2,000.00 below what I sold it to him for! I’m tempted to buy It back, will see.....

SOLD.....Thanks about the color! History/Pre Purchase Inspection...I bought the car back in 2008 while I was managing a automotive repair business in Dallas, Oregon. I purchased from an individual out of Salem, Oregon. He told me he had owned the car for several years. My techs did a PPI at time of purchase I remember the compression was between 140-150 on all cylinders Cain’t remember if we did a leak down test. The car ran excellent at that time as it does today! The car was painted red at that time and had a nice paint job on it, not the original color (Zambezi Green.) I sold the car to a local resident who took the car to an area body shop and had the paint stripped and repainted to its current color. Then put the car in storage for almost 10 years. I found the car in a restoration shop up by Portland, mostly dismantled. I purchased the car and reassembled it replacing most all the rubber etc. After prepping the engine, cylinders to start it, it started right up. I replaced the 2.0 injectors with new ones. Engine sounds great it had a few air leaks on the fuel injection rubber but was replaced which seemed to fix that problem. Car drives very straight, shifts excellent and is very tight. Videos (8) available through my phone.
** PPI Inspection completed 09/07/18. Compression check between 90-95 psi on all cylinders, everything thing else (Brakes-lighting-fluids etc.) checked good, Except noted that although tires only have approx. 100 miles on them, the purchase date was 2002. Thank you |
