Help!

My 914 race car uses a Mallory Uni-Lite distributor, Series 45. I need a replacement distributor cap. That's Mallory part number #271. Anyone got an extra one they don't need? Any reasonable price paid.

Mallory was apparently bought by MSD several years ago, however, they haven't fully taken up manufacturing all of the Mallory line. The Series 45 distributor, and it's service parts, is one of the lines they haven't started manufacturing again yet, so I can't find any supplier that actually has one in stock. It shows up on many websites, but is always listed as out-of-stock.

Please help a brother 914er!

Jegs lists the Mallory 271 distributor cap and rotor. Good luck.

I'd take Mike up on his offer, if you don't I'd be interested. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

aircooled.net has a good selection of Mallory parts
