In a post on the forum there was a picture of a fresh air box that really impressed me. It had been reconditioned and it looked like new or better. The poster I think was from the U.K. I think ( again I was not able to relocate post). He mentioned that he had used Autosol. I located the Autosol site on the web and ordered some products. The products arrived in 3 days and I was surprised to find that they were shipped from Austin, Texas. I ordered the cleaner , but over looked the conditioner. I was impressed with the cleaner by itself. What kind of experiences has others had with the Autosol product or any other products to help preserve the many plastic parts on the 914.

That was me who used the Autosol on the air box.

To be honest I've only ever know Autosol metal polish, I was unaware of any other products they made.

I did not notice that you used metal polish on the plastic. Anyway, very nice job. They make several products. I am most curious about their protective Metal Oil to protect polished aluminum door post.

After seeing Stephen's work on his fresh air blower I ordered a tube of Autosol to give it a shot. It's laying on my desk.
