Need some help identifying this brand/make of injector. Thanks! Oh and looking for one since I have one that wants to fail when the car gets warm (tested by swapping locations and failing to fire moves).
Only distinguishable marking says "BRET" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm2.staticflickr.com-18763-1536232385.1.jpg) |

That looks like a stock 2.0 injector. Possibly rebuilt by Bret Instruments?

That looks like a stock 2.0 injector. Possibly rebuilt by Bret Instruments? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) BRET used to be in the South Bay area (Torrance?), but are now up in the SF Bay area under Fuel Injection Corp. http://fuelinjectioncorp.com/ My 73 2L has had a BRET reman ECU in it since the late 1970s or early 1980s. PS - You may have to contact them by phone to see if you can get them to rebuild a set of 2.0 green top injectors for your 2.0, & they may need you to send in the cores & wait to rebuild them - since they don't list them as available (only 74-75 1.8 come up on their product search). If you do that, then I'd suggest that you maybe do 2 sets, so you have a back-up, & there are probably cores from members on here to get them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |
