I like this idea and may implement it. But I don’t think the license plate bracket needed nuts and bolts. Just screws. I thought there was a small plastic piece that fit into those square holes that the screw, uh, screws into. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I can't remember either, exactly but I know I did it on my black 89 and it did look nice. I think it's one of those things that after you read the instructions and "get in there" it becomes obvious....

Lexington SC it wasn't For Sale. I put a WTB ad on a conversion site and he responded. Long Story but it was time for him to sell. I think he will want it back

thru that other site that I posted on, other people have contacted too. I found another one at half the cost of this one, but it needs some work. I might buy it too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Just a quick question about the wheels on this thing. They look like (and I’m pretty sure are) 17” Boxster rims. I assume 7” and 8”
wide but do you happen to know the offset? Curious what size tires those are, too.

I just picked up a rough 944 Turbo and I like the look with those wheels. I looked up companies that do LS conversions and one of the first places that popped up on my internet search was a place in the same town as me. Had no idea these guys even existed but plan to run by and check out their operation soon.

Rob, my wheels will definitely be For Sale in a few weeks since I picked up the Fikse's

Well, shoot, that’s bad timing.

On Thursday I jumped on CL and low and behold a guy had the early offset phone dials in 16”...two miles from my house. Guy had no idea what he had, he was trying to put them on a ‘67 Beetle...with stock fenders. He got ‘em from a guy who didn’t know what he had. First guy put brand new tires on them and proceeded to put them on a later 944. He quickly sliced up one of the rears, figured he didn’t have the right wheels and traded to the guy I bought them from.

Tires and associated hardware removed and headed to paint on Monday.

I appreciate you remembering that I was interested. They look clean so I’m sure they’ll sell quick.

The Fikses just seem to take the car to another level. I don’t know how to explain it. They make it look classy, exclusive and a higher end car.

Nice to see the Acura. Looks like it’s getting its share of attention.
