I like this idea and may implement it. But I don’t think the license plate bracket needed nuts and bolts. Just screws. I thought there was a small plastic piece that fit into those square holes that the screw, uh, screws into. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I can't remember either, exactly but I know I did it on my black 89 and it did look nice. I think it's one of those things that after you read the instructions and "get in there" it becomes obvious....

Lexington SC it wasn't For Sale. I put a WTB ad on a conversion site and he responded. Long Story but it was time for him to sell. I think he will want it back

thru that other site that I posted on, other people have contacted too. I found another one at half the cost of this one, but it needs some work. I might buy it too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Well, shoot, that’s bad timing.

On Thursday I jumped on CL and low and behold a guy had the early offset phone dials in 16”...two miles from my house. Guy had no idea what he had, he was trying to put them on a ‘67 Beetle...with stock fenders. He got ‘em from a guy who didn’t know what he had. First guy put brand new tires on them and proceeded to put them on a later 944. He quickly sliced up one of the rears, figured he didn’t have the right wheels and traded to the guy I bought them from.

Tires and associated hardware removed and headed to paint on Monday.

I appreciate you remembering that I was interested. They look clean so I’m sure they’ll sell quick.
