Made it past Atlanta before it got full dark. Got my hotel and went out to check the car and it wouldn’t start. Guessing bc it’s hot after 3 hours at 80mph. I’ll mess with it in the morning.

Done that many times back when I was a very young man. Would use a coat hanger to grab the keys and then pull them through the window. Worked every time.


If you can't hook & pull out the keys, then go with the coat hanger in the rear driver window seal, hook the lock & the handle which you've circled, then pull it out to unlock the door.

Hooking the keys from the ignition usually requires a passenger side top seal entry & one of the thicker coat hangers for the long reach, & really good dexterity! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I've done that unlocking trick too many times back in the day, usually at the beach after locking keys in jean pocket in the car! I eventually got smart & got a hide-a-key! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
