For those of us that enjoy seeing our 914s back in their previous lives, driving among American behemoths twice their size on dingy 1970's streets...

The low-budget, poorly conceived, acted, and executed 1972 supposed-horror film 'Asylum of Satan' is one place to do this.

The movie itself is of course not worth anyone's time. If you're morbidly curious, it is available in its entirety on YouTube. If you just want the best 4 minutes though, I took the liberty of editing it down to only the scenes which include the 914.

Enjoy.

I had pants like that when I used to hang out at "The Basement", a club in Marina Del Rey. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Thanks for doing the editing. The car shows off surprisingly well in my opinion. The director was featuring a cool 70's guy in a cool 70's sports car.

Having only watched your edited version, I've got to assume this is more than just "914" porn. Assumption based on the clothes, music, and mustache...

Oh yeah. You can actually watch the entire film on YouTube. But you'll never get that hour and a half back. It's basically a mental hospital that won't let this good looking girl leave, so they can secretly sacrifice her to satan. The porn-actor looking guy in the 914 spends the movie driving around looking for her. There is a nurse who is really a man and I don't know if we're supposed to notice or not. There is no nudity even thou it always feels like there's about to be.

Can't explain it any better than that. It's almost bad-good but not quite.
