But it doesn't come off from inside the cockpit like this - Tom /////// Sure it does. You just can't do anything with it if you take it off that way, which is why those 2 are still sitting in the car looking at each other LOL Actually, when I owned my first 914 back in the late 1970s, I would remove the top all the time from inside. Simply un-clamp it, single hand lift in the center of the top while getting out of the door. Easily done if you are young, strong and flexible. I'm not doing that anymore. I also used to get into the 914 all the time without opening the door. With the window down, it was pretty easy. Again, I'm not doing that anymore. Aging sucks. |
