VRG Race at Watkins Glen Oct 7th. My best start ever. Group 3 race hit by fog didn't start, neither did Group 4 so they gave us a combined race after it just began to lift. Surreal conditions, reminds me of the old computer game "Myst". Take a lap with me starting with formation lap leading to the start. I'm staged at the front of Group 3 so just behind the Group 4 big bore cars. Got my left foot on the brake, right on the gas to stay close. Got the jump on several Group 4 cars going into Turn 1, never looked back. Couldn't stay with the blue teener driven by John Coey and the white Ford Escort in my mirrors finally got me on the next lap. Stayed ahead of the GT350 Mustang, very sweet. Pump up the volume and enjoy!
