my shift linkage rattles unless i'm in 1st gear. i can get it to stop while rolling by nestling the shifter into the 1st gate and engaging the syncro's only.
the pic shows what i think is the problem as it's loose and sounds the same. it looks easy to fix, but i need to know what to get, or if it's something else. thanks. Attached thumbnail(s) |

the image is of the right angle drive for the speedo....it will rotate.
Check the linkage against the warm air guide....other side of engine/tranny |
