The link in the thread didn't seem to work... Anyone have a pic of the trunk with the tire installed?

The spare does not mount face out as pictured does it ? Anyone have experience removing a space saver and installing on a Fuchs ? I got a 15” Space saver from Bruce Stone several years ago. Removed it from the Steel wheel and put it on the Fuchs. Sorry let me start with, First, we filled it with air and then let the air out and it stays in a tall contour. Remove it and mount on Fuchs. Once it was on the Fuchs it takes a bat to hit the tire for it to lay flat. I guess there is some spring steel in the tread body that punches it up. This worked for the shop next door to my shop to do it. They said it was hard. I was the one that hade to use the bat on it. Same bat I used to roll my wheel arches on my 911. I recently had it removed from the local tire shop and both the wheel and tire are fine. Bob B (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |

Not making any money on these . Just breaking even.. It's a service only and Kent knows that as he sent me the patterns as I told him some people were looking for this mount to be made and had asked me.. So if you want a break down cost is 20 dollars for the part to be cut as only did 10 of them. 7.45 for the USPS flat rate shipping oh and the 2.55 is eaten up in paypal fees.. That's cool and thanks for the breakdown - that's a good service and a good deal for a unique piece. |

Hmmm Hoarder! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) I would be pleased with "just" one....if possible... Paul I have 4 project cars and if Ben is making more pieces, I might as well get them now. Laser cutting doesn’t care if it’s 1 or 4 or 400. |

Everyone that paid has mounts shipping usps tomorrow except for Oscar's. I will make another run for the remaining interested. Also know I won't make any more after that. It's allot of work but rather the time I don't have to "donate" I would like to do something like what Oscar did possibly as an alternative in the future where proceeds would go to support this site.. That would mean I would charge more..
