The pin and hook are worn so much on one side that I can't latch the top down on the passenger side rear. The pin has a slot worn into it from years of use and the hook just slides through that slot. The hook looks like some of the metal has worn away also. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I tightened up a pair of loose targa latch pins by sliding a short length of vinyl tubing over the pin. It was enough to fill the hook.

Sounds like an good solution if it works. I'll try that first but mine are pretty far gone. I was thinking about having the slot filled with weld but I really need the hooks to be more pronounced too.

Thanks

If that doesn't work and you need replacements. You'll probably need to specify early or late. The tops are different.
