Is there a software application that I can install on my employees computers that allow me to

Lock their desktop settings.

For example, I want to...

1. Lock the resolution
2. Lock the wallpaper
3. Lock the screensaver, time frame, and resume password protect feature.

I have set our employees PCs the way they need to be for HIPAA security reasons, and they keep turning off the screen saver because it is too inconvenient for them.

Thanks,

Qarl

If you are setup in a domain, you can use group policy to push these changes out to the workstation. It differs a little from an NT4 domain to Active Directory (2000 or 2003) but both are easily done.

2000 Group Policy

2003

Are you running NT4 domain? If so we can do that too. Just post it here and I'll put a link up for you.

Unfortunately...no domain.

Just peer-to-peer work group.
