This is basically a brand new Fuel Safe Sportsman 10 gallon fuel cell It is about 7 years old and I purchased it 2 years ago. It has been sitting in my office. It has never had fuel in it. The foam in it is technically timed out, so you will have to replace it if you are in a series that cares about FIA legal fuel cells. I think contact with fuel is what degrades foam so this should be usable for a few years if you are not in a tightly controlled series.

The cell is set up with two fuel pickups, one in each back corner. This was done to
support a dual fuel pump operation where both pumps run all the time. You could run
this with one pump and relocate the pickup or use the new Holley fuel mat.

The cell has a return line fitting, provision for a fuel level sender, and a rollover valved
vent fitting.

This would make a great cell for autocross, track days, chump car, etc. for cars with
four cylinder or smaller six cylinder motors. If you have a thirsty motor and are doing
chump car or other endurance series then this is probably too small. This holds a
similar amount of usable fuel to the Patrick motorsports cells that fits in the stock
914 fuel tank. The bladder and foam in the Patrick cell (which is very sweet setup)
reduce the usable volume of the 15 gallon 914 tank to around 10 gallons. Dimensions are it 25.65x10.25x10.25

With this fuel cell in the front trunk it frees up the original gas tank area for your
oil tank, fuel pumps, battery and other components. Mounting the fuel cell this way
is not compatible with the classic 914 gt oil cooler shroud because the shroud intrudes too far into the front trunk. A modified shroud should work.
Origional price is $1,700

$600 + ship (probably around $50-75) Email - mark@markepstein.net

The pics of the fuel cell (and some of the description) are John's/fourblades. I purchased the tank from him but never used it.
