hey any one ever had the mount at the firewall crack so the cover wouldnt close?
just spent the afternoon (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) to fix it. and took the lid apart and painted the grill and all. the spot weld at the latch bolt was broken and fixed that too. also use the chance with the cover off to really get a look in the hole and all around.shop vac the crude out. so the results are ................ solid hell hole only surface rust, i poked around realy hard not believing it. sorry still havent bought a digi cam yet so wheres that smiley for this post is worthless |
