So I flew over to McKinney and purchased the "hanger find" 75' 914 1.8

It seems it's been through 3 members here with the only active one being @damnfiknow who rebuilt the trans, possible swapped the engine, and did the Weber conversion.

I was curious if anyone knew him or the car? And if they know what motor is actually in it?

Thanks!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) , someone should have put that thread in the classifieds section (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif)

I read the title and it being in the garage section, I figured someone had found a good deal for themselves. Oh well, hope you find some info on it - congratulations to you on the purchase (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) , post a picture!

It needs a little love, but I think it'll make a good driver .
