Got my new accelerator cable today but am stumped on how to attach it to the carbs. Do I need to cutoff the existing ferrule on the cable when using carbs? There seems to be no way to get it through to the set screw otherwise.

I've been recommending the CSP center pull bell crank linkage, which is far superior to any cross bar, and not too expensive.

You still have to come up with a cable bracket though.
