A cross bar set up isn't that bad if it's set up correctly.
Every set up has play in it, if you take the time to make sure everything is tight and aligned correctly it will work just fine. After looking at my parts car that has the same linkage as your car the ferrule on the end of the cable is intact and held into the linkage. I'll snap a few pics in a sec. |
