I was really surprised. I expected to see at least ONE 914. I was in SF for 3 days, drve north a couple of hundred miles up hwy 1 in a Kia !! Oh yeah. I prolly woulda gone for an unintnded off-road (but not off-gravity...) descent if I had been tempted by my 914.
But I did NOT SEE ANOTHER 914!
What are you all just fakers or sumthing? Huh? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)
So I think that WCC thing was some kinda conspirocy, like the moon landings. What do youu have to say for yourselves!

You should have posted that you were visiting. I bet everyone would have been happy to meet up and go for their favorite drive. Me, I am still at the Hospital with my new son. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

They were either at McMark's new shop, or at Candlestick at the autoX school. (Only a handful of 914s there as students. About 20 there driven by instructors; and I think close to half the instructors are current or ex 914 drivers.)

You should have come thru Monterey, I was there all weekend and saw only one other 914...lots of t-draggers tho, and a Beautiful 58ish convertable D...very nice...our anniversary weekend...on the way back over hwy 17 I had to punish two SUVs involved in a 42mph drag race when one screwed up and left a hole....BAM...it was all good after that.
