As part of getting the 1.7 ‘73 BAT car into regular use I need to tidy up the return fuel line. Does anyone have a picture of where the return if you wind it runs in the engine compartment before it ducks down under the horizontal sheet metal to the return line near the engine firewall?
Does it run up the passenger side engine compartment above the engine level so it’s not subject to heat? Thanks! |

My 72 fuel line comes up from the pump , runs across the rear firewall to the fuel pressure regulator, then to the driver side injectors , runs across the top of the engine to the cold start injector, continues across the top of the engine to the passenger side injectors, and down to the y that ties it into the return from the fuel pump. it will pick up some heat ,but dump most of that running forward to the tank, Never been an issue with mine-- when it was running.
