(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) he posted in "914 Resources, Parts and Products", which is supposed to be for club members who produce their own 914 gadgets. i simply moved his post over here so he would have a chance of getting it answered ... am i missing something here? Hey Toni,
E-mail me your address and I'll send you a copy of my instructions (I have the Rich Johnson kit, but I don't think that'll matter) cheers, Jeroen jeroen@berloth.nl |

The Beergarden season in Germany 2003 is perfect. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
The Weather is since May very dry and hot (around 30 degres Celsius). For us its perfect but the farmers cry for rain Toni Brad what do you mean with NO rosette holes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

Toni,
I think that is what he is calling the holes in the steel. (IMG:http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_EBAY_a8a32cec54a147f8cb980bb23b14302c/i-1.JPG) |

QUOTE(seanery @ Jul 15 2003, 06:59 AM) I think that is what he is calling the holes in the steel. yepp, there's someone out there who sells a kit without the holes, so you have to drill them yourself. you need to put a spot-weld in each of the holes and then some around the edges to get it to work right. some even make a complete seam around the edges ... I have ran across 4-6 people now that have purchased "The 914 stiffening kit" off of Ebay only to find out it has NO holes for welding when it arrives.
If the price is cheaper than 110$ for the kit... RUN. B |
