I'm not sure if this thread should be in the sandbox, but I'm starting it here. Maybe an administrator can move it if necessary.
I haven't seen that anybody organized a calendar group buy this year, so I'm thinking that people could post their favourite 914 photos from the last year, then members could use them to make a calendar via a Staples/Walmart/Vistaprint etc on-line system. There wouldn't be any voting or anything, you'd just grab the photos you like best from the thread. Not sure about resolution though -- can we post them directly on this thread with an acceptable resolution? Please provide guidance or recommendations if you have any. EDIT: please post pictures with resolution around 2000 x 1500 pixels. Thanks! Matt aka mobymutt |

great idea - gives me another idea as well, make my own calendar with pictures over the past 2 years during the restoration etc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) That's what my daughters had suggested to me, but 12 months of rustbucket photos would get a bit tiring! Thought using other people's nice cars would be a better idea! |

I had also considered this. a couple years ago I made a calendar on Shutterfly featuring our Akitas.
They have a couple sizes available. Guess I better get movin' on it. I'll start with this picture. Use it if you like it. |

I tested Olympic 914's photo on Vistaprint (which my wife recommends, not sure if it's just Canadian or what). It says the resolution is too small (960 x 720).
It looks like 2000 X 1500 pixels doesn't give an error, so please aim for that resolution when uploading photos to the thread. Thank you! |

Great, keep'em coming! Remember 2000 x 1500 pixels (or thereabouts) if you can.
