I purchased a pair of NOS 1.7 heads and paid for them on 4 November, and still waiting for them to be shipped. HaraldD rang them on my behalf a week ago and they were promised to be shipped that day, but still nothing. They do not answer emails and the last one I sent promising a public shaming didn't get a response either.

This is their website http://www.riechertmotorentechnik.de/en/

Treat with absolute caution.

How did you pay? Paypal? Credit card?

You should get your money back, the heads aren't coming.

I had no choice but to pay by bank transfer. I think I have been robbed.

Riechert used to be a BIG name in the '80s car world in Germany.

I didn't know they were still around ...

I think we are making some progress, so no thanks. HaraldD is making another call.

They arrived, thanks to Harald’s follow up. It transpires that they are just disorganised.

Ing. Bernd Riechert is one of the famous tuning pioneers in the aircooled scene. He started his career in the 1960s and he is still alive. Unfortunately competitor Theo Decker passed away2016 (with an age of 82).
Normally it is well known that email is not his first choice for conversation. It was always better to call him. However, it is often a lottery to catch him and deliveries take some time, but you ever got fine quality so far.
Nice to hear that Harald could help. So all is fine. Have fun with the parts.
