Don't I remember someone making a replacement seal of some kind for the flapper valves? With the new Dansk at $120, not real need. But I hate recycling almost good parts.

I had the same question on mine and Bruce Stone said there was an attempt at new gaskets and the the consensus was to run them like yours.

These DO NOT have to seal perfectly. They are just directional flaps.

I bought new Dansk flappers a few years ago. They did not use any type of seal.
