I was on NADA checking the value of a 1984 944 when I decided to check the value of the 1975 914 2.0L I was blown away by the numbers. I would love to see the numbers they have posted but I am not sure they are in the real world.
Low Retail: $21,300 Average Retail: $29,800 High Retail: $39,400 We all know that the 75-76 are the ugly ducklings of the family. 1973 2.0L Low $21,500 Average $30,00 High $44,200 |

Haggerty values as follows:
#1 - $62,500 #2 - $31,200 #3 - $17,500 #4 - $10,300 A lot of the pricing data is from auctions. Some of the hammer prices are an anomaly and could include the buyers premium. That said, good clean, low mileage or top level restored 914's are getting serious money, even for the 4 cylinder cars. And, what's with calling my "baby" ugly! LOL. Dave |

you guys see the 74 1.8 on BAT lat week? NON RUNNING. went for 15k. the only reason I was paying attention is that it is identical (model, color, miles, condition) to one I bought about 5 years ago for $2200. might be a record for a project 1.8

NADA on any collector car seems about 2X to me. I had originally thought they were using ASKING data not SOLD data, but they are even too high for that. Hagerty is a good starting point, but I would also check completed listings (actual sales and bid to values) on eBay and BaT.

I'd take all of those values with a HUGE grain of salt, closed sales on BAT, eBay and here are likely a better real world guide.
