Why?
Why not? I know one person who did the conversion specifically because he didn't have to pay bridge tolls on his daily commute. (Carpool lane at that time meant zero toll; not sure if that's the case now.) Others do it because it's interesting. Some of our power locally is renewable--and even more for people who have solar installed. If someone wants to have an electric 914, I think that's cool! I'm not sure I would own one, mind you, but it's not my car... --DD |
