Any 914 mechanics around Orlando that want to help me get my 914 running? I've run out of steam to continue working on it and need some help!

How far are you from Deland? There is a 914 expert with a shop there.

There is an excellent mechanic in the Daytona Bech area.
Call Lou at Aerodynamics 1-386-304-0380. Tell him what you want to have done. Then you can make a decision.
Lou has done work on 3 914s for me two of which I still own (One a 6 conversion), 88 Carrera, and Cayman S. He is very reputable. He knows and has owned 914s.
There I am done. Good luck with your project.
Bill.

Forgot to mention that at least 90% of Lou's work is on Porsches.
There now I'm done.

Feel you missed an opportunity here, could've said that Lou works roughly 91.4% on Porsches.

Sometimes it just pays to hunker down in the garage and get it done! Attached Image

Remember what Henry Ford said,
"Chop your own wood, it will warm you twice"

Working on your own car has its own rewards.
