Very good running 2.7 engine from a 911SC. Came out of car so owner could install a 3.6. Compression is 160lbs. Leak down down was 4%. It has time certs on all the headstuds and it has Carrera chain tensioners. No induction, fan or exhaust. I will post a video shortly of it running on the test stand. I want it sold. $6,500. Email - mark@markepstein.net to purchase.

Wish I had seen this! I’ll call you first on the next one. Lots of 911 guys have good running 2.7’s but upgrade to 3.2-3.6. Which by the way is costing more all the time. I’ve noticed that although 911 prices have cooled, engine prices have not cooled at the same time. Interesting! |

I’ve noticed that although 911 prices have cooled, engine prices have not cooled at the same time. Interesting! A lot of our business has always been hot rodding 911's. So many of our cars are 2.0-3.0 that get 3.2-3.8's. Those engines keep on going up in price but even the smaller ones are getting expensive if they are good runners. Rebuild costs are almost the same for any size engine. |
