Trying to do some mop up of several items that have either gone missing from my car, or have been claimed by the deterioration gods. Most of these can be found new but I like to recycle and am a CSOB to boot. Numbers in parentheses are how many I need. Thanks.
2. 3. 5. 9. Rear trunk hinge stay (1) - I thought about welding and regrinding this one but that seems silly |

I’ll let you know when I get home from work. It looks like you have the other parts. I have these for you plus the 4 brake spring clips Attached thumbnail(s) |

Trying to do some mop up of several items that have either gone missing from my car, or have been claimed by the deterioration gods. Most of these can be found new but I like to recycle and am a CSOB to boot. Numbers in parentheses are how many I need. Thanks. Before we had the WWW and digital images, I would draw a pic of the part next to the description in a notepad - I still do it from time-to-time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) 1. Seat belt bolts (2) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/d354nuoz4t18d4.cloudfront.net-20845-1546458441.1.jpg) 2. Late Front caliper pins (4) 3. Rear caliper pins (1 set of 2 pins) 4. Brake pad spreader spring 311-615-269 (4) 5. Brake pin spring clips (8) 6. Rear shock auxilliary spring (2) - #8 in this pic. 7. Master cylinder piston rod (1) _ the rod that connects to the pedal cluster and pushes in the master cylinder. Hand brake cable and hardware (1) - The short cable that connects the two cables that extend through the firewall with the lever and all the hardware, including the little equalizer plate. Looks like the 914 boys have got you covered on your WTB list (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

Thanks guys. Looks like we are making progress but these parts are a little confusing. I already bought the wrong brake hardware from another member so I'll try to avoid repeating that. I also forgot I also need a trunk hinge stay so added it to my original post. So here's some follow up.
@KevinW - Looks like this checks off 6 & 7 from my list but can you verify the rubber springs are from the rears? The PET shows different part #s for front and rear and yours look a lot like my fronts so I want to double check. Part # for rears should be 914 333 053 01. I have the eye bolt piece that is on the pedal end of yours so you can keep it for a rainy day if you like. I'm pretty sure I have the whole assembly somewhere but dang if I can find it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) @PCA7GGR - I see part of #2, 4, 5 and 8 from my list in your pic. 1. You mentioned you thought you had a couple seat belt bolts. Did you find those? 2. My front caliper pins look like the pair you have in the lower right. Mine are 77mm long. The pair of pins above them in your pic look close, but I'm not sure if they will seat with the shorter turned ends. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) 3. Rear pins should be shorter (69mm) and have a fat and skinny pin for each caliper. I'm not seeing them in the pic. AA sells rear hardware kits which might be the way to go on those. 4. The plated spreaders you have at the top look like the right ones for my car. PET shows the same part# front and rear for late calipers. I think the spreaders on the bottom in your pic might be for early calipers? Mine are 51mm tall x 43mm wide. 5. I count 6 clips here. That's a good start. 8. This is a start. I have the cover plate and ratchet piece already. I need #23-29 in the diagram below. Looks like this covers 25-28. The main thing is the cable (23) as I can source the rest at the local hardware. Again, I'm pretty sure these are around somewhere but have gone missing. So far, I'm still looking for: #1, #2(2), #3, #4(2), #5(2), #8 cable, and #9. Thanks guys. Sorry these parts are so tedious. What you see is what I got - ;>) No problem and I just realized I forgot to add an important pic to my earlier post. If this works for you, I'd like the pair of pins above #2, the 6 clips shown on the other pins, and the 2 spreaders marked #4. Kevin was able to set me up with a complete handbrake cable assembly so I'm set there. I'll PM with details. Thanks! |

Here is the rear stuff we talked about, missing one clip. I have seat belt bolts if you still need them. I should have the trunk hinge too.

Here is the rear stuff we talked about, missing one clip. I have seat belt bolts if you still need them. I should have the trunk hinge too. Nice! I actually only need one pair of pins and one expansion spring. Kevin got me squared away with the remaining brake parts. I do still need two seat belt bolts and the trunk hinge stay if they are handy. You can PM me about what I owe. Thanks! |

Dig them out tomorrow. Thanks! That crosses everything off the list except one late front caliper pin. They aren't too expensive new though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
