Last thing I need is the wiring harnesses for the switches and the ambition to do the deed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Just looked at what I have and the turn and wiper switches do have harnesses, but are the connector plugs the same as on the 914?

I don't have the harness for the ignition switch.

Nope I am not sure how I want to tackle that yet.. The plugs are very different.

yes my version is round, not the areal version. I will most likely go with Deutsch connectors, it is already not a stock anything car so it should not be an issue. Just documentation of what goes into what ever pin.

Still interested in the conversion, and Ben's final version.

Excellent thread as I hope to one day do this. Thanks!
Wish I had done it when I had the chance but there was so much going on and I had a major wiring mess to contend with.
