I recently changed to PMO carbs. I have the PMO fuel pressure regulator which calls for the use of the fuel return line. I previously had used a Carter inline pump and did not have the return line hooked up.
I am installing new metal fuel lines from tangerine. I figure that if I am replacing lines, I might as well replace the return line also (even if I don’t use it). My question is- can I use the same carters inline pump and also use the fuel return line or do I have to get a fuel pump that has a return port? I have never used a fuel return line so I have a poor understanding of its function- I am not clear if any sort of pump pressure is needed to get the fuel to return? |

So do I run the line directly from the pmo regulator up front to the fuel tank?
