mine had a few adjustments. It has the stoppers on each side underneath. It has the adjustment on the spring in the middle. It may also take some finagaling on the hinge bolts as well.

I was told once by some old body shop guys that the lid could be shaped slightly by a heavy hand. They said to put some boards under the lid at a pivot point and then to work it with your body weight.

I'd suggest asking a body shop and try it out on an old junker lid first.

I have an extra lid that I need to practice on myself.

For the rear check the pivot points, my driver side weld had come apart and hood would raise about 3/8 inch. JWest engineering carries replacement part for this. (www.jwesteng.com) After I replaced mine the hood still was raised just a bit on driver rear. I adjusted the trunk latch and now it sits correctly.
