One set is available again as these pads are compatible with the earlier 70-72 rear calipers and will not fit my car.

Same deal.....$10 shipped!

Difference is the mounting holes on the top of the pads. They would need to be circular to fit the late rear calipers as per my Air cooled Mechanic and what is already on the car.
Maybe someone can chime in here.

You have always had to drill the one hole hole on both pads. Original factory pads were the only ones that came that way.
