SOLD For Sale a 1973 914 1.7 a nice looking, running and driving little 914, originally Light Ivory (L80E) car. The current red paint appears several years old but with some love the old red had a little shine left.

It’s a numbers matching 1.7 car and comes with a COA. Has a single carb and changed to eletronic ignition. Shifts good but needs shifter bushings. Stops straight with no pedal fade. Tracks straight.

Since my 6 month ownership I’ve adjusted the valves, installed new spark plugs, changed oil/filter and mounted new Pirelli P7 tires (195/65-15) and drive it. Repaired both driver and passenger door handles (plastic disk latch release)

The body appears solid, no bubbles, rust or corrosion. The floors are mostly solid but does show rust in a couple of areas, but all the suspension points are solid. The hell hole and the most rear truck floor panel area’s show previous patch work (fiberglass) had been done. At some point the right front was hit and a sad attempt to repair. Left side rear truck hinge shows signs of repairs. Windscreen is cracked.

Fuch wheels are all in really nice condition and have matching 73 date stamps

all over the interiors in really nice condition.

What works; High/Low headlights, pop up motors, fog lights, brake lights and rear running lights, radio, speedo, tach and lights on gauges operate.
What Doesn’t work; Turn signals, flashers, right front marker lights, horn, wipers. mileage counter does not count up currently at 92,xxx

Lots of extra miscellaneous spare parts (3 tubs), Targa top, luggage rack, electronic boxes for injection and two different types of steel wheels (spares)

Located in Louisville Kentucky.
