Hello folks,
I've a couple of questions that I've thought of whilst sipping tea and dismantling the Colonel. Is it wise, common practice, adviseable, to replace the original wiring? or, should I test it and then put it back if it all works? Are there any other parts which should be replaced, period? like relays, things like that? And finally, for now, the petrol tank....whats the best way to re condition that? looks quite cruddy in there, but very little rust seems to be present on either the outside, or the inside. I removed a couple of litres of VERY stinky old fuel already. Thanks in advance! Stoddy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif) |

You could buy a new tank, or depending upon the cost, take your tank to a radiator shop to have it boiled out and see what condition it is in. Then check into having the inside coated to protect it and refinish the outside like new. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
