Nice video of some great 914 GT. nothing like having a 911 that you are overtaking have it's engine let loose and spray oil all over your front end (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) ....at 15:00 |

Very cool. These guys got a great car and are having big fun. Looks like a father son family thing going on too.
Wiring diagram - cool idea! At about 15:30 the white 911 writes a big check! |

Great video! Love the 914, but it's really fun to see all the other Euro cars too. I like the Mercedes, early GTI's, and the MK1 Escort.

For you youngsters the reason wiring diagrams were put in various places in racecars was because back in the day the driver had to repair the car and get it back to the pits for repairs. Today the track wants the cars out of harms way so they tow it back to the pits or garage and the crew fixes it.
We also ran duplicate throttle cables in the car. Way different today...... |

thanks!
excellent example of a modernized "clone" GT that meets current euro Historic regulations (which is apparently a departure from the rules of a few yrs ago when only "real-GT-FIA-documented" cars were allowed) note the full cage, oil catch tank, modern fuel cell, etc & 3 more under the Mittlemotor Tent an inspiration for every current GT-clone builder lot's of nice period correct detail all can aspire to duplicate & obviously a well-financed entrant oops! - passed 'way too quickly by a 911 ,,,,,,,,,, aced an obviously DNF Mustang! 24th Classic - Nurburgring .... same stuff we can see & drool over at Rennsport Reunion several other 914 Sector links available from this page - WOW! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpxAz68R7gU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJy6Vze3m9E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tevszu3rPO8 |
