Brace added to the suspension mount points for added strength.

Plate welded to the brace for even more strength to the front apron.

Looks absolutely great and very professionally done! I especially like the spare tire. This is something I have planned to do also but haven’t looked into yet. Looks like a 4 lug Fuch wheel with space saver tire, my question is the tire is it a space saver and if so where did you get it as I sort of thought they require a special wheel and tire?Attached Image

The tire came from PMB you will have to ask Eric Shea where he got the tire. Send him a PM he will answer.

You can put a space saver tire on other wheels. The 911 guys and some 914ers put them on Fuchs all the time. Many tire shops won't do it, some can't do it and if you find one that does a good job, pay them extra. It's not easy. You should be able to buy a space saver wheel and tire for $50-75.

Incredible job. No one EVER realizes how much work goes into a nicely finished project like that, but we and our cut fingers, broken tools, and German cusswords can totally appreciate it. Really fine looking - love the vertical spare.

This is a great idea. The spare tire can come from a 944. Vredstein makes them I think.
