Lots of people on that thread that are no longer on 914World or no longer with us. Brings back lots of memories. Hard to believe it was 13 years ago.
If you remember, Ferrari threatened to sue Howard over that Ebay auction because he mentioned the name Ferrari in the ad. They didn't want people to associate their cars with the crash. He dropped the ad, and relisted it with thinly veiled references about the manufacturer to make Ferrari's attorneys happy. The jokes got even better after that. |
