WTB: Both (2) 914-6 engine compartment drain plugs. I can't seem to find the part number (or proper name) any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sumner The round rain tray tube plugs for 914-6 are part number 914 559 243 10, which were fitted stock to all factory 6 cars and likely be of interest to conversion projects and 4-cylinder cars with the rain tray removed. Our product development department actually has a few NOS examples, and they're semi-translucent white as mentioned above. Product development has also been considering making the oval plugs used to close off the fuel line holes in the engine compartment when not being used, part number 914 559 245 10. We agree with Mikey914; there's probably little or no profit in these considering the tooling cost, and would be break-even items at best. But someone should make them. If Mikey914 wants to make them, awesome. If it doesn't make sense for him, we could probably step up and get it done. We'll keep an eye on this thread to see if we should proceed or not. |
