What is the original tire size on 14" five lug Fuchs ?
I have the original spare 175 SR 14 Is that right?
Also what happened to the tire calculator on the site?

Here's one of many tire size calculators on the net.

The original 185 80 14 had a diameter of 25.7"

Mentioned in this thread as alternatives...

185 70 14 24.3"

195 70 14 24.7"

195 60 14 23.2"

195 65 14 24.0"

205 70 14 25.3"


IMHO, non of these would keep the speedometer close to accurate with the exception of the 205 70 14, and since some are up to 2" shorter than the stock ones, they may look goofy in the fender wells. (You may have goals other than a stock speedometer and stock look, however)

A 195 75 14 comes the closest to stock diameter at 25.5". Tough to find any sort of performance tire in this size, however...
