Is a 914/6 oil tank dipstick longer than a 911 tank dipstick? Mine seems short.

914rubber! Love those guys! I got one of theirs but it didn’t fit right. Couldn’t screw on the cap. Broke it trying to modify it. Yikes. A kind member is offering me one from his stash so looks like I’m covered. Thanks again! |

The neck was turned about 30 degrees which I believe made the dipstick stick seem off. PMS said there’s a mesh and hole the tube should go through when installed right. Didn’t see anything in there. Also wonder if the neck is on there far enough.
