Had to go to a used parts lot to pick up a fender for my son’s Camry today and chatted with the counterman about restoration. He mentioned that a customer had left a 914 4-5 years ago and had never come back. I took a quick look at it and it was either a ‘70 or ‘71 (didn’t check the VIN). It had alloys and the interior looked good. Didn’t see any rust on the body. The counterman said “it ran when it was parked.”

If I hadn’t just started on my ‘76 resto I would have taken a good hard look at this one.

If anyone’s interested in it give me a shout and I’ll give you directions. The place is located on a county road in Richland, Michigan.
